From enquiry to handover in Yeadon
Check the void
We confirm void depth, grid size and any obstructions such as beams, sprinkler pipes or ductwork. For sites in Yeadon we confirm access and parking beforehand.
Set positions
Cassettes are placed against the lighting and grid layout so air reaches the whole space.
Hang and connect
Units are hung on drop rods, connected to pipework and the condensate line.
Test and commission
The condensate pump is water-tested, the system pressure tested and charged, and air directions set.
Things to check in Yeadon
Void depth
Compact cassettes typically need around 250–300 mm of clear void; larger units need more. We measure before quoting.
Leased premises
If your Yeadon premises are leased, the landlord's written consent is usually needed for external units, wall penetrations and roof access. We provide drawings and data sheets for the request.
Condensate
Most cassettes include a pump. The discharge still needs a route to a drain, which we design at survey.
Roof and height work
Flat roofs, high walls and atriums need the right access equipment and edge protection. We plan towers, MEWPs or scaffold before the job, not on the day.
Types of premises we cover in Yeadon
- Pubs and bars: cooling for busy bars, function rooms and cellars, sited with neighbours in mind.
- Schools and education: classroom cooling, ventilation and IT room cooling, installed in the holidays.
- Salons and spas: comfortable salons and treatment rooms despite dryers, lamps and steam.
- Gyms and leisure: high-capacity cooling and fresh air for gym floors, studios and changing rooms.
Compliance in England: refrigerant work falls under GB F-gas rules, and buildings with more than 12 kW of air conditioning in total need a periodic energy inspection (often called TM44).

All of them, including LS19. Give us your postcode when you enquire and we will confirm the visit details.
What size cassette do I need?
It depends on the heat load. As a guide, a compact cassette suits a room of up to about 40–50 m² of office space; larger spaces use bigger units or several cassettes.
How noisy are ceiling cassettes?
At normal fan speeds modern cassettes are quiet enough for offices and restaurants. We select fan speeds and unit sizes so they are not working flat out.
