Commercial air conditioning guide price tool
Answer four short steps and see a guide price straight away. It uses the same figures as our published price tables. Send it to us and we will confirm it with a survey (free for mainland installations) or a priced visit.
How the guide price is worked out
For new systems, the tool estimates the cooling load from the floor area and the type of premises (for example, about 100 W per m² for offices and 160 W per m² for restaurants), then picks enough indoor units of your chosen type to cover the load and the number of zones. It multiplies by our published per-unit guide prices and applies the regional factor for your postcode.
Servicing, repair and ventilation prices come straight from the same tables shown on each service page and on our prices page.
Questions
How accurate is the guide price?
It uses our published per-unit guide prices and regional factors, so it is a sound budget. The fixed price depends on access, pipe routes, electrics and the building, which we confirm at survey or before a visit.
What does out-of-hours installation add?
The tool adds 10% to 20% for evening, early-morning or weekend working. The exact uplift is confirmed in your written quote.
Is VAT included?
No. Guide prices exclude VAT, which is added at 20%. VAT-registered businesses can usually reclaim it.
Do I have to send my details to see a price?
No. The guide price shows before the last step. Send it to us only if you want a fixed quote or a survey.
