What to think about in Balerno
F-gas
Where a system is above the 5 tonnes CO2 equivalent threshold, the service visit can include the mandatory leak check.
Access and parking
Town-centre jobs in Balerno often come down to access — loading restrictions, parking for the van and getting equipment onto a roof. We check this at survey and plan deliveries around it.
Warranty
Manufacturer warranties often require servicing at set intervals by a competent engineer. Keep the reports.
Roof and height work
Flat roofs, high walls and atriums need the right access equipment and edge protection. We plan towers, MEWPs or scaffold before the job, not on the day.

Two rules matter for most businesses in Scotland: GB F-gas rules (leak checks from 5 tonnes CO2e) and the periodic energy inspection for systems of 12 kW or more.
