How it works in Powys
Measure
We measure the opening and check wind exposure and existing heating. For sites in Powys we confirm access and parking beforehand.
Select
The right width, air velocity and heat source are chosen.
Install
The unit is mounted and connected to power, water or refrigerant.
Set up
Door contacts and controls are set so it runs only when needed.
Local points to consider
Heat source
Heat pump air curtains are usually cheaper to run than electric ones.
Neighbours and noise
Outdoor units near flats — common above shops — need careful siting so noise at neighbours' windows stays low. We choose positions and quieter units with that in mind.
Controls
Door contacts stop the unit running when the door is closed.
Working hours
Most Powys businesses prefer noisy work outside trading hours. Early starts, evenings and weekends can be arranged and are priced up front.
