Before you book in Salisbury
Heat source
Heat pump air curtains are usually cheaper to run than electric ones.
Roof and height work
Flat roofs, high walls and atriums need the right access equipment and edge protection. We plan towers, MEWPs or scaffold before the job, not on the day.
Sizing
The curtain should cover the full door width and reach the floor at the right velocity.
Conservation areas
Historic streets and listed buildings in and around Salisbury are more likely to need planning permission for outdoor units on visible elevations. We check with the local planning authority before work is booked.
Typical premises in Salisbury
- Restaurants and cafés: dining rooms that stay comfortable next to a hot kitchen and a busy service.
- Retail and shops: comfortable shop floors, stockrooms and entrances, even with the door open.
- Warehouses and industrial: cooling for offices, mezzanines, control rooms and temperature-sensitive areas.
Compliance in England: refrigerant work falls under GB F-gas rules, and buildings with more than 12 kW of air conditioning in total need a periodic energy inspection (often called TM44).

Which postcodes do you cover in Salisbury?
All of them, including SP1. Give us your postcode when you enquire and we will confirm the visit details.
Will it keep insects out?
An air curtain can help discourage flying insects, but it is not a substitute for proper insect screening where hygiene rules require it.
