The steps for a project in Sittingbourne
Measure
We measure the opening and check wind exposure and existing heating. For sites in Sittingbourne we confirm access and parking beforehand.
Select
The right width, air velocity and heat source are chosen.
Install
The unit is mounted and connected to power, water or refrigerant.
Set up
Door contacts and controls are set so it runs only when needed.
Local points to consider
Controls
Door contacts stop the unit running when the door is closed.
Conservation areas
Historic streets and listed buildings in and around Sittingbourne are more likely to need planning permission for outdoor units on visible elevations. We check with the local planning authority before work is booked.
Exposure
Windy entrances need more powerful units or a lobby.
Roof and height work
Flat roofs, high walls and atriums need the right access equipment and edge protection. We plan towers, MEWPs or scaffold before the job, not on the day.
Typical premises in Sittingbourne

Two rules matter for most businesses in England: GB F-gas rules (leak checks from 5 tonnes CO2e) and the periodic energy inspection for more than 12 kW of air conditioning.
