Check the void
We confirm void depth, grid size and any obstructions such as beams, sprinkler pipes or ductwork.
Set positions
Cassettes are placed against the lighting and grid layout so air reaches the whole space.
Hang and connect
Units are hung on drop rods, connected to pipework and the condensate line. In Llanelli we agree timings around your opening hours.
Test and commission
The condensate pump is water-tested, the system pressure tested and charged, and air directions set.
Before you book in Llanelli
Cleaning access
Filters need cleaning regularly, so cassettes should be reachable with a step ladder.
Working hours
Most Llanelli businesses prefer noisy work outside trading hours. Early starts, evenings and weekends can be arranged and are priced up front.
Condensate
Most cassettes include a pump. The discharge still needs a route to a drain, which we design at survey.
Neighbours and noise
Outdoor units near flats — common above shops — need careful siting so noise at neighbours' windows stays low. We choose positions and quieter units with that in mind.
Typical premises in Llanelli
- Pubs and bars: cooling for busy bars, function rooms and cellars, sited with neighbours in mind.
- Gyms and leisure: high-capacity cooling and fresh air for gym floors, studios and changing rooms.
- Restaurants and cafés: dining rooms that stay comfortable next to a hot kitchen and a busy service.
- Salons and spas: comfortable salons and treatment rooms despite dryers, lamps and steam.
In Wales, systems holding 5 tonnes CO2 equivalent of refrigerant or more fall under GB F-gas rules, with regular leak checks and records; buildings with more than 12 kW of air conditioning in total also need a periodic energy inspection.
Common questions from businesses in Llanelli
How much does a ceiling cassette cost in Llanelli?
Guide prices in Llanelli run from about £2,050 to £4,695 per cassette, plus VAT. A typical job (shop or restaurant with 2–3 cassettes) costs £4,695–£12,795 plus VAT. We fix the price in writing after a free survey.
Do you also cover Gorseinon, Swansea and Ammanford?
Yes. Alongside Llanelli, we also cover Gorseinon, Swansea and Ammanford. Each has its own page with local guide prices.
Which postcodes do you cover in Llanelli?
All of them, including SA15. Give us your postcode when you enquire and we will confirm the visit details.
What size cassette do I need?
It depends on the heat load. As a guide, a compact cassette suits a room of up to about 40–50 m² of office space; larger spaces use bigger units or several cassettes.
Can a cassette bring in fresh air?
Many cassettes have a knock-out for a fresh-air duct, so ventilation air can be connected. The ventilation system still needs designing separately.
