How we work in Pimlico
Check the void
We confirm void depth, grid size and any obstructions such as beams, sprinkler pipes or ductwork.
Set positions
Cassettes are placed against the lighting and grid layout so air reaches the whole space.
Hang and connect
Units are hung on drop rods, connected to pipework and the condensate line. In Pimlico we agree timings around your opening hours.
Test and commission
The condensate pump is water-tested, the system pressure tested and charged, and air directions set.
Points to plan for in Pimlico
Condensate
Most cassettes include a pump. The discharge still needs a route to a drain, which we design at survey.
Access and parking
Town-centre jobs in Pimlico often come down to access — loading restrictions, parking for the van and getting equipment onto a roof. We check this at survey and plan deliveries around it.
Cleaning access
Filters need cleaning regularly, so cassettes should be reachable with a step ladder.
Leased premises
If your Pimlico premises are leased, the landlord's written consent is usually needed for external units, wall penetrations and roof access. We provide drawings and data sheets for the request.
Typical premises in Pimlico
- Healthcare and dental: clean, quiet cooling for surgeries, clinics, dental practices and care settings.
- Offices: zoned cooling and heating for open-plan floors, meeting rooms and comms rooms.
- Gyms and leisure: high-capacity cooling and fresh air for gym floors, studios and changing rooms.
- Salons and spas: comfortable salons and treatment rooms despite dryers, lamps and steam.
Two rules matter for most businesses in England: GB F-gas rules (leak checks from 5 tonnes CO2e) and the periodic energy inspection for more than 12 kW of air conditioning.
