From enquiry to handover in Wood Green
Check the void
We confirm void depth, grid size and any obstructions such as beams, sprinkler pipes or ductwork. For sites in Wood Green we confirm access and parking beforehand.
Set positions
Cassettes are placed against the lighting and grid layout so air reaches the whole space.
Hang and connect
Units are hung on drop rods, connected to pipework and the condensate line.
Test and commission
The condensate pump is water-tested, the system pressure tested and charged, and air directions set.
Before you book in Wood Green
Ceiling grid
Compact cassettes drop into a 600 mm grid; full-size units need the grid adapting around a larger panel.
Shared buildings
In multi-let buildings, roof space, risers and plant areas are often controlled by a managing agent. We work to their permits and method-statement requirements.
Void depth
Compact cassettes typically need around 250–300 mm of clear void; larger units need more. We measure before quoting.
Access and parking
Town-centre jobs in Wood Green often come down to access — loading restrictions, parking for the van and getting equipment onto a roof. We check this at survey and plan deliveries around it.
Types of premises we cover in Wood Green
- Gyms and leisure: high-capacity cooling and fresh air for gym floors, studios and changing rooms.
- Schools and education: classroom cooling, ventilation and IT room cooling, installed in the holidays.
- Restaurants and cafés: dining rooms that stay comfortable next to a hot kitchen and a busy service.
- Healthcare and dental: clean, quiet cooling for surgeries, clinics, dental practices and care settings.
Compliance in England: refrigerant work falls under GB F-gas rules, and buildings with more than 12 kW of air conditioning in total need a periodic energy inspection (often called TM44).
