Things to check in Carrickfergus
Void depth
Low-profile ducted units can fit voids of around 250 mm, but ductwork adds depth. We measure the route as well as the unit position.
Working hours
Most Carrickfergus businesses prefer noisy work outside trading hours. Early starts, evenings and weekends can be arranged and are priced up front.
Noise
Duct sizes and grille velocities are chosen to keep noise down in quiet rooms.
Leased premises
If your Carrickfergus premises are leased, the landlord's written consent is usually needed for external units, wall penetrations and roof access. We provide drawings and data sheets for the request.

In Northern Ireland, systems holding 5 tonnes CO2 equivalent of refrigerant or more fall under EU F-gas rules that apply in Northern Ireland, with regular leak checks and records; buildings with more than 12 kW of air conditioning in total also need a periodic energy inspection.

Is ducted air conditioning more expensive?
Usually a little more than a cassette of the same capacity, because of the ductwork, grilles and access panel. In return you get a much cleaner ceiling.

It can, but every room then shares one thermostat. Rooms with different uses are better on separate units or zones.
