How we work in Leyland
Survey the floor
We look at the ceiling void, the grid layout, window orientation, occupancy and where the outdoor plant can go. For sites in Leyland we confirm access and parking beforehand.
Zone the space
Open-plan, meeting rooms, reception and IT rooms are treated as separate zones with their own controls.
Coordinate the ceiling
Unit positions are set against the lighting and grid layout so cassettes and grilles sit neatly.
Install around the business
Work is phased by area or done out of hours so staff can keep working.
Commission and train
Controls are set with sensible limits and scheduling, and we show your facilities lead how to manage them.
Before you book in Leyland
Out-of-hours use
If staff work late or weekends, zoning lets you run only the areas in use.
Shared buildings
In multi-let buildings, roof space, risers and plant areas are often controlled by a managing agent. We work to their permits and method-statement requirements.
Draughts and noise
Units are positioned so air does not blow directly onto desks, with quiet fan speeds selected for meeting rooms.
Neighbours and noise
Outdoor units near flats — common above shops — need careful siting so noise at neighbours' windows stays low. We choose positions and quieter units with that in mind.
Types of premises we cover in Leyland
- Offices: zoned cooling and heating for open-plan floors, meeting rooms and comms rooms.
Two rules matter for most businesses in England: GB F-gas rules (leak checks from 5 tonnes CO2e) and the periodic energy inspection for more than 12 kW of air conditioning.

Do you also cover Chorley, Preston and Horwich?
Yes. Alongside Leyland, we also cover Chorley, Preston and Horwich. Each has its own page with local guide prices.
Which postcodes do you cover in Leyland?
All of them, including PR5, PR25 and PR26. Give us your postcode when you enquire and we will confirm the visit details.
Ceiling cassettes or wall units for an office?
Cassettes suit offices with a suspended ceiling and spread air evenly in four directions. Wall units are cheaper and suit small rooms or solid ceilings. Ducted units are the most discreet.
Will it disrupt the office?
We phase work by area or work early mornings, evenings or weekends. Most of the noisy work is done before units are hung.
