Things to check in Aberystwyth
Smells
Musty smells usually mean biological growth in the coil or tray; a deep clean and drain treatment normally cures them.
Neighbours and noise
Outdoor units near flats — common above shops — need careful siting so noise at neighbours' windows stays low. We choose positions and quieter units with that in mind.
Grease
Units near kitchens need cleaning more often, and sometimes relocating.
Roof and height work
Flat roofs, high walls and atriums need the right access equipment and edge protection. We plan towers, MEWPs or scaffold before the job, not on the day.
Who we work with in Aberystwyth
- Healthcare and dental: clean, quiet cooling for surgeries, clinics, dental practices and care settings.
- Pubs and bars: cooling for busy bars, function rooms and cellars, sited with neighbours in mind.
- Restaurants and cafés: dining rooms that stay comfortable next to a hot kitchen and a busy service.
- Salons and spas: comfortable salons and treatment rooms despite dryers, lamps and steam.
Compliance in Wales: refrigerant work falls under GB F-gas rules, and buildings with more than 12 kW of air conditioning in total need a periodic energy inspection (often called TM44).
