How it works in Altrincham
Check the void
We confirm void depth, grid size and any obstructions such as beams, sprinkler pipes or ductwork.
Set positions
Cassettes are placed against the lighting and grid layout so air reaches the whole space.
Hang and connect
Units are hung on drop rods, connected to pipework and the condensate line. We keep work areas in Altrincham screened and tidy at the end of each day.
Test and commission
The condensate pump is water-tested, the system pressure tested and charged, and air directions set.
What to think about in Altrincham
Cleaning access
Filters need cleaning regularly, so cassettes should be reachable with a step ladder.
Working hours
Most Altrincham businesses prefer noisy work outside trading hours. Early starts, evenings and weekends can be arranged and are priced up front.
Condensate
Most cassettes include a pump. The discharge still needs a route to a drain, which we design at survey.
Conservation areas
Historic streets and listed buildings in and around Altrincham are more likely to need planning permission for outdoor units on visible elevations. We check with the local planning authority before work is booked.

In England, systems holding 5 tonnes CO2 equivalent of refrigerant or more fall under GB F-gas rules, with regular leak checks and records; buildings with more than 12 kW of air conditioning in total also need a periodic energy inspection.

Yes. Alongside Altrincham, we also cover Sale, Irlam and Wilmslow. Each has its own page with local guide prices.
Which postcodes do you cover in Altrincham?
All of them, including WA14. Give us your postcode when you enquire and we will confirm the visit details.
Can a cassette bring in fresh air?
Many cassettes have a knock-out for a fresh-air duct, so ventilation air can be connected. The ventilation system still needs designing separately.
What size cassette do I need?
It depends on the heat load. As a guide, a compact cassette suits a room of up to about 40–50 m² of office space; larger spaces use bigger units or several cassettes.
