How we work in Lisburn
Check the void
We confirm void depth, grid size and any obstructions such as beams, sprinkler pipes or ductwork.
Set positions
Cassettes are placed against the lighting and grid layout so air reaches the whole space.
Hang and connect
Units are hung on drop rods, connected to pipework and the condensate line. We keep work areas in Lisburn screened and tidy at the end of each day.
Test and commission
The condensate pump is water-tested, the system pressure tested and charged, and air directions set.
Things to check in Lisburn
Cleaning access
Filters need cleaning regularly, so cassettes should be reachable with a step ladder.
Shared buildings
In multi-let buildings, roof space, risers and plant areas are often controlled by a managing agent. We work to their permits and method-statement requirements.
Condensate
Most cassettes include a pump. The discharge still needs a route to a drain, which we design at survey.
Leased premises
If your Lisburn premises are leased, the landlord's written consent is usually needed for external units, wall penetrations and roof access. We provide drawings and data sheets for the request.
Types of premises we cover in Lisburn
- Restaurants and cafés: dining rooms that stay comfortable next to a hot kitchen and a busy service.
- Offices: zoned cooling and heating for open-plan floors, meeting rooms and comms rooms.
- Schools and education: classroom cooling, ventilation and IT room cooling, installed in the holidays.
- Gyms and leisure: high-capacity cooling and fresh air for gym floors, studios and changing rooms.
Compliance in Northern Ireland: refrigerant work falls under EU F-gas rules that apply in Northern Ireland, and buildings with more than 12 kW of air conditioning in total need a periodic energy inspection (often called TM44).

What size cassette do I need?
It depends on the heat load. As a guide, a compact cassette suits a room of up to about 40–50 m² of office space; larger spaces use bigger units or several cassettes.
How noisy are ceiling cassettes?
At normal fan speeds modern cassettes are quiet enough for offices and restaurants. We select fan speeds and unit sizes so they are not working flat out.
