From enquiry to handover in Sutton
Check the void
We confirm void depth, grid size and any obstructions such as beams, sprinkler pipes or ductwork. For sites in Sutton we confirm access and parking beforehand.
Set positions
Cassettes are placed against the lighting and grid layout so air reaches the whole space.
Hang and connect
Units are hung on drop rods, connected to pipework and the condensate line.
Test and commission
The condensate pump is water-tested, the system pressure tested and charged, and air directions set.
What to think about in Sutton
Cleaning access
Filters need cleaning regularly, so cassettes should be reachable with a step ladder.
Roof and height work
Flat roofs, high walls and atriums need the right access equipment and edge protection. We plan towers, MEWPs or scaffold before the job, not on the day.
Ceiling grid
Compact cassettes drop into a 600 mm grid; full-size units need the grid adapting around a larger panel.
Working hours
Most Sutton businesses prefer noisy work outside trading hours. Early starts, evenings and weekends can be arranged and are priced up front.
Typical premises in Sutton
- Healthcare and dental: clean, quiet cooling for surgeries, clinics, dental practices and care settings.
- Pubs and bars: cooling for busy bars, function rooms and cellars, sited with neighbours in mind.
- Gyms and leisure: high-capacity cooling and fresh air for gym floors, studios and changing rooms.
- Offices: zoned cooling and heating for open-plan floors, meeting rooms and comms rooms.
Compliance in England: refrigerant work falls under GB F-gas rules, and buildings with more than 12 kW of air conditioning in total need a periodic energy inspection (often called TM44).
Questions about ceiling cassettes in Sutton
How much does a ceiling cassette cost in Sutton?
Guide prices in Sutton run from about £2,750 to £6,350 per cassette, plus VAT. A typical job (shop or restaurant with 2–3 cassettes) costs £6,350–£17,295 plus VAT. We fix the price in writing after a free survey.
Do you also cover Carshalton, Banstead and Ewell?
Yes. Alongside Sutton, we also cover Carshalton, Banstead and Ewell. Each has its own page with local guide prices.
Which postcodes do you cover in Sutton?
All of them, including CB6, CR44, CT15 and DN6. Give us your postcode when you enquire and we will confirm the visit details.
Do I need a suspended ceiling for a cassette?
Yes, or a ceiling void with access. In solid ceilings a wall-mounted or ducted unit is usually the better option.
Can a cassette bring in fresh air?
Many cassettes have a knock-out for a fresh-air duct, so ventilation air can be connected. The ventilation system still needs designing separately.
