How a job in Wallington works
Check the void
We confirm void depth, grid size and any obstructions such as beams, sprinkler pipes or ductwork. For sites in Wallington we confirm access and parking beforehand.
Set positions
Cassettes are placed against the lighting and grid layout so air reaches the whole space.
Hang and connect
Units are hung on drop rods, connected to pipework and the condensate line.
Test and commission
The condensate pump is water-tested, the system pressure tested and charged, and air directions set.
What to think about in Wallington
Ceiling grid
Compact cassettes drop into a 600 mm grid; full-size units need the grid adapting around a larger panel.
Working hours
Most Wallington businesses prefer noisy work outside trading hours. Early starts, evenings and weekends can be arranged and are priced up front.
Cleaning access
Filters need cleaning regularly, so cassettes should be reachable with a step ladder.
Access and parking
Town-centre jobs in Wallington often come down to access — loading restrictions, parking for the van and getting equipment onto a roof. We check this at survey and plan deliveries around it.
Premises we work in around Wallington
- Schools and education: classroom cooling, ventilation and IT room cooling, installed in the holidays.
- Pubs and bars: cooling for busy bars, function rooms and cellars, sited with neighbours in mind.

In England, systems holding 5 tonnes CO2 equivalent of refrigerant or more fall under GB F-gas rules, with regular leak checks and records; buildings with more than 12 kW of air conditioning in total also need a periodic energy inspection.
Common questions from businesses in Wallington
How much does a ceiling cassette cost in Wallington?
Guide prices in Wallington run from about £2,750 to £6,350 per cassette, plus VAT. A typical job (shop or restaurant with 2–3 cassettes) costs £6,350–£17,295 plus VAT. We fix the price in writing after a free survey.
Do you also cover Carshalton, Sutton and Purley?
Yes. Alongside Wallington, we also cover Carshalton, Sutton and Purley. Each has its own page with local guide prices.
Which postcodes do you cover in Wallington?
All of them, including PO16, SG7 and SM6. Give us your postcode when you enquire and we will confirm the visit details.
Can a cassette bring in fresh air?
Many cassettes have a knock-out for a fresh-air duct, so ventilation air can be connected. The ventilation system still needs designing separately.
Do I need a suspended ceiling for a cassette?
Yes, or a ceiling void with access. In solid ceilings a wall-mounted or ducted unit is usually the better option.
