Walthamstow and surrounding areas
Walthamstow sits within London's dense commercial fabric: shopfronts, offices above, studios and venues, where outdoor unit positions and access need careful planning.
We work across Walthamstow's postcode districts, including E17. We also cover Leytonstone, Tottenham and Woodford Green, all within easy reach of Walthamstow. Buildings across London range from converted period offices to modern units with deep ceiling voids, so we measure each site rather than relying on a standard package.

How it works in Walthamstow
Check the void
We confirm void depth, grid size and any obstructions such as beams, sprinkler pipes or ductwork.
Set positions
Cassettes are placed against the lighting and grid layout so air reaches the whole space.
Hang and connect
Units are hung on drop rods, connected to pipework and the condensate line. We keep work areas in Walthamstow screened and tidy at the end of each day.
Test and commission
The condensate pump is water-tested, the system pressure tested and charged, and air directions set.
Before you book in Walthamstow
Condensate
Most cassettes include a pump. The discharge still needs a route to a drain, which we design at survey.
Neighbours and noise
Outdoor units near flats — common above shops — need careful siting so noise at neighbours' windows stays low. We choose positions and quieter units with that in mind.
Void depth
Compact cassettes typically need around 250–300 mm of clear void; larger units need more. We measure before quoting.
Working hours
Most Walthamstow businesses prefer noisy work outside trading hours. Early starts, evenings and weekends can be arranged and are priced up front.
Types of premises we cover in Walthamstow
- Offices: zoned cooling and heating for open-plan floors, meeting rooms and comms rooms.
- Healthcare and dental: clean, quiet cooling for surgeries, clinics, dental practices and care settings.
- Pubs and bars: cooling for busy bars, function rooms and cellars, sited with neighbours in mind.
- Restaurants and cafés: dining rooms that stay comfortable next to a hot kitchen and a busy service.
In England, systems holding 5 tonnes CO2 equivalent of refrigerant or more fall under GB F-gas rules, with regular leak checks and records; buildings with more than 12 kW of air conditioning in total also need a periodic energy inspection.

All of them, including E17. Give us your postcode when you enquire and we will confirm the visit details.
Can a cassette bring in fresh air?
Many cassettes have a knock-out for a fresh-air duct, so ventilation air can be connected. The ventilation system still needs designing separately.
How noisy are ceiling cassettes?
At normal fan speeds modern cassettes are quiet enough for offices and restaurants. We select fan speeds and unit sizes so they are not working flat out.
