How we work in Worthing
Survey the floor
We look at the ceiling void, the grid layout, window orientation, occupancy and where the outdoor plant can go. For sites in Worthing we confirm access and parking beforehand.
Zone the space
Open-plan, meeting rooms, reception and IT rooms are treated as separate zones with their own controls.
Coordinate the ceiling
Unit positions are set against the lighting and grid layout so cassettes and grilles sit neatly.
Install around the business
Work is phased by area or done out of hours so staff can keep working.
Commission and train
Controls are set with sensible limits and scheduling, and we show your facilities lead how to manage them.
Things to check in Worthing
Draughts and noise
Units are positioned so air does not blow directly onto desks, with quiet fan speeds selected for meeting rooms.
Roof and height work
Flat roofs, high walls and atriums need the right access equipment and edge protection. We plan towers, MEWPs or scaffold before the job, not on the day.
Leases and dilapidations
In a leased office, agree with the landlord who owns the system and what happens at the end of the lease.
Leased premises
If your Worthing premises are leased, the landlord's written consent is usually needed for external units, wall penetrations and roof access. We provide drawings and data sheets for the request.
Types of premises we cover in Worthing
- Offices: zoned cooling and heating for open-plan floors, meeting rooms and comms rooms.
In England, systems holding 5 tonnes CO2 equivalent of refrigerant or more fall under GB F-gas rules, with regular leak checks and records; buildings with more than 12 kW of air conditioning in total also need a periodic energy inspection.
