Before you book in Wisbech
Resilience
A single unit is a single point of failure. N+1 means one unit can fail without the room overheating.
Roof and height work
Flat roofs, high walls and atriums need the right access equipment and edge protection. We plan towers, MEWPs or scaffold before the job, not on the day.
Monitoring
A temperature alarm costs little compared to the equipment it protects.
Neighbours and noise
Outdoor units near flats — common above shops — need careful siting so noise at neighbours' windows stays low. We choose positions and quieter units with that in mind.
Who we work with in Wisbech
- Healthcare and dental: clean, quiet cooling for surgeries, clinics, dental practices and care settings.
- Schools and education: classroom cooling, ventilation and IT room cooling, installed in the holidays.
- Offices: zoned cooling and heating for open-plan floors, meeting rooms and comms rooms.
- Warehouses and industrial: cooling for offices, mezzanines, control rooms and temperature-sensitive areas.
In England, systems holding 5 tonnes CO2 equivalent of refrigerant or more fall under GB F-gas rules, with regular leak checks and records; buildings with more than 12 kW of air conditioning in total also need a periodic energy inspection.
Your questions answered
How much does server room cooling cost in Wisbech?
Guide prices in Wisbech run from about £4,250 to £16,150 per room (duty/standby pair), plus VAT. A typical job (small comms room, 2–5 kW IT load, N+1 pair) costs £4,250–£9,650 plus VAT. We fix the price in writing after a free survey.
Do you also cover March, King's Lynn and Spalding?
Yes. Alongside Wisbech, we also cover March, King's Lynn and Spalding. Each has its own page with local guide prices.
Which postcodes do you cover in Wisbech?
All of them, including PE13. Give us your postcode when you enquire and we will confirm the visit details.
Why not use the office air conditioning?
Office systems switch off out of hours and are sized for people, not equipment that runs 24/7. A dedicated system is more reliable and cheaper to run.
What does N+1 mean?
One more unit than you need. If one fails, the other can carry the load while it is repaired.
