Local points to consider
Working hours
Most Horsham businesses prefer noisy work outside trading hours. Early starts, evenings and weekends can be arranged and are priced up front.
Leased premises
If your Horsham premises are leased, the landlord's written consent is usually needed for external units, wall penetrations and roof access. We provide drawings and data sheets for the request.
Conservation areas
Historic streets and listed buildings in and around Horsham are more likely to need planning permission for outdoor units on visible elevations. We check with the local planning authority before work is booked.
Neighbours and noise
Outdoor units near flats — common above shops — need careful siting so noise at neighbours' windows stays low. We choose positions and quieter units with that in mind.
Compliance in England: refrigerant work falls under GB F-gas rules, and buildings with more than 12 kW of air conditioning in total need a periodic energy inspection (often called TM44).
